SUPPLIES NEEDED:
HANGERS
3 X 5 NOTE CARDS CUT IN HALF or thick paper to print tags
ZIP-LOC BAGS IN VARIOUS SIZES
SAFETY PINS (MED.-LARGE)
CLEAR PACKING TAPE (use scotch tape on books)
PRICE TAGS:
* All price tags need to be made the same size regardless of the
size of the item (see example picture below).
* The following price tag information needs to written on half of a 3 x 5 index card or use printer version
CODE NUMBER: Four digit number to be issued after registering online or calling Jen at 214-636-9661. Needs to be written in the upper left hand corner of tag.
CLOTHING SIZES: Use exact sizes for children's clothing (i.e. 0-3 Months). For teen clothing mark with the appropriate size not small, medium, or large use the number- 12. Write size in the upper right hand corner of the tag.
PRICE: Needs to be written in the middle of the tag. Use only 50 cent increments ($3.00, $3.50, $4.00, etc.). All hanging items must be a minimum of $3.00. Combine items if needed. Make sure you put "this is a set" on the index card. As a rule of thumb you should price your items 1/3 to 1/2 of their original retail price. Write in RED INK on card for any item you DO NOT want to go half price on the last day of the sale, all tags written in black ink will be eligible for half price day.
Donate/Pickup Bottom right hand corner designate letter D, or P:
D-Donate unsold items to our charity
P- Pick-up items
R- Resale unsold items. NO LONGER ACCEPTING RESALE ITEMS
DESCRIPTION: Needs to be written at the bottom of the tag. Be very descriptive of the item using brand names if applicable. Descriptions are important in case a tag becomes separated from its item.
*Tags should be pinned with large safety pins on the LEFT side of the garment over your heart.
*All clothing must be on hangers and facing to the left. It should look like a question mark "?".
*Please sort according to size & sex. Use a rubber band to hold hangers together by size/sex.
